Anyone who follows my work will know that Jackson Pollock is my main artistic influence. Thus, my Abstract Expressionism Photography artworks are in the fashion of All-Over Painting, and my works are full of chaos, action, dynamic colours, and design.

I love to see what I can do with the interplay of colour and design. This series is more about chaos than order. It has no boundaries and I don’t pay much attention to rules. I work on a piece until I see that the artwork tells me, “We are Done.”

MENTAL NOTE #31.0-ARGH! “THE 4A.M. PLAN”!

Yeah, so, kind of typical, awake suddenly….at the UnHoly Hour of 4A.M….what to do?

Steps in the “4 A.M. Plan”:

1) Get out of Bed. [√]

2) Make some Tea and/or Coffee. [√]

3) Go outside and stand in the cool rain! [√]

4) Unblurry your eyes, goto some device or computer and attempt to get some work done. [√]

OR,

5) Read a Book (I may do this instead)!

So…that is the 4A.M. Plan….Please feel free to do the same. Or, just stay in bed and get decent sleep like any normal person would.

Inventory of My Work:

I was taking inventory of my Photography work this morning. It doesn’t take long to do. The numbers are clearly listed there at my Member’s Gallery at Imagekind ( http://nawfalnur.imagekind.com/ ). Since becoming a member at Imagekind in 2006, I have designed 2,628 Fine Art Photographs, in 90 galleries.

A few of these galleries have One Photograph in them. It’s not to say I have stopped those series, no, it’s because no other photographs I have created (thus far) fit those series.

Other of my Photography Series have hundreds of Fine Art Photographs, like my ABSTRACT LIGHT STREAKS Series. This series currently has 434 Fine Art Photographs in it, and obviously it is one of my favourite series to work on. It is also my largest photography series. It consists of and is designed from Nighttime, Urban, Coloured Lights I have photographed in Penang and Kuala Lumpur, in Malaysia (the vast majority in Penang).

I guess I am a Rorschach Chaos Junkie!

I love the ambidextrous, mirrored character—the amazing lines, colours, and EXTREME details that develop as I design these Art Works. IF anyone bothers to REALLY SEE (not just look at, but SEE Deeply into) these works, they will see EXACTLY what I am talking about the Chaos, the Order, the Beauty, the Multitude of Colours—It Fascinates me.

EASILY, ABSTRACT LIGHT STREAKS #434, falls somewhere in my personal Top 10 Favourites from the ABSTRACT LIGHT STREAKS Series (thus far).
