MENTAL NOTE #107-A: ALL ARTISTS (Photographers, Painters, Writers, Singers, etc.), SHOULD BE VERY INTERESTED IN THIS MENTAL NOTE, AND WHAT I HAVE TO SAY, BECAUSE YOU COULD BE THE NEXT UNFORTUNATE ARTIST WHO IS UNFORTUNATE ENOUGH TO BE CHEATED BY AN ONLINE BUSINESS, WHO USES YOUR INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY, WITHOUT PAYING YOU THE AGREED UPON COMMISSIONS, AN AGREEMENT THAT IS CLEARLY STATED IN THEIR TERMS OF SERVICE TO USE AND PARTNER WITH THEM ON THEIR ONLINE BUSINESS, WHEN SIGNING UP WITH SAID INTERNET BUSINESS! YES, YOU MAY BE NEXT TO BE CHEATED! THAT IS WHY YOU SHOULD BE CONCERNED THAT I HAVE BEEN CHEATED! YOU SHOULD BE ANGRY THAT I HAVE BEEN CHEATED!

Yeah, I know I just used ALL CAPS IN THE HEADING, LOL, to stress how angry and disappointed I feel.

As I wrote in a Parler post, WHICH I DOUBT ANYONE WILL FÙČĶÎÑG PAY ANY ATTENTION TOO, because I seem to be invisible to most people, not being a celebrity, or crooked politician, or sports star … Not very many people pay attention to what I have to say, and that too, may be unfortunate for anyone who could potentially learn something from me — That is, if anyone thinks I have something beneficial to teach or share with them. PHOTOGRAPHY : I could be a good teacher, for willing and open-minded students.

JUST AS IMPORTANT — LEARN FROM THE MISTAKES AND DISASTERS OF YOUR PEERS!

This is when empathy is important for you. Whatever your spiritual beliefs are, if you cannot show empathy for others who have been cursed with a problem, karma seems to come around and bite you in the ass. Therefore, be kind and helpful to other people (artists) who need help, need good advice, and need words of encouragement, because being an artist/creative, can be a very unforgiving and disappointing profession from time to time.

The ONLY beneficial thing that may come out of my experience, being cheated (at NO fault of my own, mind you), is that other artists can attempt to avoid the same disaster from happening to them.

At this time, I will not name names, although I would be PERFECTLY WITHIN MY RIGHTS to expose the offending Internet printing company: They are not some fly-by-night outfit. They have been in business for many years. I always thought they were reputable. I never had problems in the past. BUT NOW: I have sent them a final email notification ‘suggesting’ to them to be ethical, and correct the problem, even though, they have ignored, stalled, and lied to me for 7 months! I am, in some respects, EXTREMELY patient with people, but I have a limit! That limit has expired.

IN SHORT: They used my Intellectual Property, my Copyrighted work, to produce artwork, which they sold and benefited from, BUT WITHOUT Paying me the agreed upon commissions that are supposed to be paid on a regularly scheduled time each month. If for some reason, the artwork was returned by the customer, of course, the artist would not receive commissions. BUT THAT IS NOT THE CASE. As far as I am aware, the customer was satisfied, there was no return of product, and my Artist Sales page showed that I had Commissions due to be paid to me. My artwork was sold in May (If I remember correctly), 2020, and these many months the company has been giving me the runaround. This is totally unethical!

If Cheating me out of my Commissions, was not enough, they ALSO, DELETED MY ACCOUNT WITHOUT NOTIFYING ME! When I attempted to log into my account today, I could not. They have deleted my login information as if my account with them never existed.

Well, I have screenshots from my account with them, of all the evidence, proving that they owe me commissions.

I will see if they repent, admit their alleged ‘fraudulent’ behaviour, and correct the situation to my satisfaction …. BUT SO FAR, I AM VERY UNSATISFIED, VERY UPSET, VERY DISAPPOINTED, AND VERY PISSED about being Cheated!
